Product Introduction
The exquisite metallic magnesium production line features an expertly crafted rotary kiln, meticulously engineered to meet the unique calcining characteristics of dolomite and fulfill the stringent process demands of the esteemed Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This kiln acts as the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and precision throughout its operation. The superior products produced by this state-of-the-art rotary kiln exhibit remarkable stability and consistent quality,with high reactivity and minimal loss on ignition, flawlessly meeting the rigorous demands of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This design not only improves the magnesium extraction rate but also enhances silicon utilization, significantly reducing production costs and consumption of metallic magnesium,rendering it an indispensable component for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The comprehensive process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through a series of meticulously planned stages: starting with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is processed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is then compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further purified, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatments to yield premium quality magnesium ingots.

3) A vertical cooler at the kiln's forefront fully exploits the heat from the kiln's high-temperature whitened material to preheat the secondary air to a remarkable 650°C, further boosting thermal efficiency and ensuring excellent economic returns.
