Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully designed rotary kiln, crafted with precision to align seamlessly with the distinct calcining properties of dolomite and the stringent specifications of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. Revered as the heart of the dolomite calcining system, this cutting-edge products emerging from our state-of-the-art rotary kiln display unwavering stability and uniform quality, boasting exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This guarantees adherence to the Pidgeon method standards, significantly enhancing magnesium extraction rates, optimizing silicon usage, while dramatically reducing production and consumption costs of metal magnesium,making it the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination, setting an unparalleled benchmark in the magnesium sector.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process seamlessly integrates all stages, from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, to reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln, and efficiently cooled by an advanced cooler. It undergoes further pulverization into a fine powder using cutting-edge ball mill machinery and is expertly formed into balls via a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in either a rotary or vertical kiln, converting dolomite into pristine calcined white. This is then expertly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create an ideal dough, placed within a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching precise temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by meticulous flux refining, ingot casting, and surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots of unmatched quality.
