As the kiln gracefully rotates, materials advance with unmatched efficiency, propelled by a powerful forced blast that generates a high-temperature zone of 1000-1200ºC. Within this intense thermal environment, zinc metal compounds are artfully reduced using a skilled carbon reducing agent, transforming into zinc metal vapor that enters the gas phase. In this vaporous state, zinc vapor engages with oxygen, converting into zinc oxide dust, which is adeptly captured by the dust collection system alongside the flue gas. This refined process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Furthermore, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium are reduced and oxidized, augmenting the final product, while valuable metals like copper, gold, and silver remain preserved within the kiln slag, safeguarding their intrinsic value.
