Harnessing the advanced rotary kiln volatilization method, this state-of-the-art process transforms zinc oxide ore into premium-grade zinc oxide. The journey begins as zinc oxide ore is meticulously combined with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions, then introduced into the kiln through the tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln rotates with precision, the materials elegantly progress forward. A powerful forced blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone of 1000-1200ºC within the kiln, where the reduction of zinc metal compounds occurs with the aid of a carbon reducing agent. This process converts them into metal zinc vapor, which enters the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor reacts with oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with the flue gas, is expertly captured by our dust collection system, yielding a high-quality low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while elements like copper, gold, and silver remain in the kiln slag, showcasing the kiln's efficiency.

At the heart of this pioneering process is a sophisticated assembly of advanced equipment, including a state-of-the-art Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a highly efficient kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, a top-tier dust collector, and a comprehensive desulfurization system. This is further complemented by a precise batching system, an innovative granulator, and a network of advanced conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operation and exceptional productivity at every phase of the process.
