It all begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore and coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly crafted mixture is then introduced into our formidable rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with majestic precision, the materials advance forward, entering a zone of intense transformation. Aided by a powerful forced blast, the interior of the kiln reaches a remarkable 1000-1200ºC, creating the ideal environment for a high-temperature reaction. Within this fiery realm, zinc metal compounds undergo a miraculous reduction by a carbon reducing agent, transforming into metal zinc vapor. This vapor gracefully enters the gas phase, where it encounters oxygen from the air, swiftly oxidizing into zinc oxide dust. Our state-of-the-art dust collection system captures this zinc oxide dust along with the flue gas, yielding an enhanced low-grade zinc oxide product. Rich metals, such as lead and indium, also partake in this transformation, undergoing reduction and oxidation to contribute to the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly ensconced within the kiln slag.
