Discover the innovative production process of secondary zinc oxide, where tradition meets cutting-edge technology. At the heart of this process is the Rotary Kiln Volatilization Method, a direct production approach that relies on the formidable rotary kiln as its primary apparatus. In this meticulously designed process, zinc oxide ore is expertly blended with finely powdered coke or smokeless crushed coal in precise proportions. These meticulously prepared materials are then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln gracefully rotates, the materials gently roll forward, undergoing a series of transformative stages. Through forced air blast, an intensely heated reaction zone, reaching temperatures of 1000-1200ºC, is created within the kiln. Under these controlled conditions, the zinc metal compounds within the charge encounter the reducing agents-carbon and carbon monoxide-initiating a reduction process. This results in the formation of metal zinc vapor, which enters the gas phase. Within this phase, the zinc vapor encounters atmospheric oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust. This dust is expertly captured by our state-of-the-art dust collection system, alongside the flue gas, producing a low-grade zinc oxide product. Furthermore, this process effectively reduces and oxidizes metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, into the final product. Meanwhile, elements like copper, gold, and silver remain securely within the kiln slag, preserving their valuable properties.

The core equipment of this advanced process system encompasses a wide array of sophisticated machinery, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance. Key components include the Roots blower for powerful air circulation, the robust rotary kiln, the kiln tail smoke chamber to manage emissions, and the surface air cooler for efficient thermal regulation. Our dust collector is designed for maximum efficacy in capturing particulate matter, complemented by an advanced desulfurization system that ensures environmental compliance. The batching system guarantees precise material handling, alongside the granulator for uniform product formation, and an extensive network of conveying equipment to facilitate seamless material transport throughout the process.
