Product Introduction

This innovative design enhances the magnesium extraction rate and optimizes silicon utilization, substantially reducing production costs and magnesium consumption,. It is the essential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The intricate process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through a series of precise stages: starting with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is then compacted into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is thoroughly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive mass, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatment to produce finished magnesium ingots.
