The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is meticulously crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled by a sophisticated cooler. It is further pulverized into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then expertly combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create the perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
