This cutting-edge technique begins as zinc oxide ore is meticulously blended with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in expertly calculated proportions. The blend enters the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly rotates, the materials are gently advanced. Through a forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures soaring between 1000-1200ºC is established within the kiln. This searing heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds with a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. The zinc vapor then encounters air oxygen, undergoing an oxidation process to form zinc oxide dust, which is precisely captured by the dust collection system along with flue gas. This process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals, such as lead and indium, are reduced and oxidized, enhancing the final product, while metals like copper, gold, and silver remain within the kiln slag, preserving their value.

The backbone of this pioneering process system is a remarkable ensemble of state-of-the-art equipment: a robust Roots blower, our pivotal rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, a highly efficient dust collector, a sophisticated desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an effective granulator, and an intricate network of advanced conveying equipment. Together, they ensure smooth and efficient operation at every stage of the production process.
