Known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, this exceptional technique begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore and precisely measured coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This expertly crafted mix is introduced into the rotary kiln through a specialized kiln tail discharge pipe. As the grand rotary kiln rotates gracefully, the materials advance with precision. Enhanced by a controlled forced blast, a dynamic high-temperature reaction zone is formed, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This formidable heat enables the efficient reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into vibrant metal zinc vapor. In the gas phase, this zinc vapor encounters atmospheric oxygen, elegantly oxidizing into fine zinc oxide dust. This dust is adeptly captured by an advanced dust collection system alongside the flue gas, resulting in the successful extraction of low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo sophisticated reduction and oxidation processes, enhancing the final product quality. Meanwhile, copper and luxurious metals like gold and silver remain gracefully within the kiln slag.
