Harnessing the innovative rotary kiln volatilization method, this advanced process initializes when zinc oxide ore is meticulously mixed with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly crafted blend is then fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly rotates, the materials progress forward with grace. Through a powerful forced blast, an internal high-temperature reaction zone is established, reaching impressive temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. This intense heat environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor. This zinc vapor gracefully transitions into the gas phase, where it meets oxygen from the air, transforming into zinc oxide dust. This dust is skillfully captured by the dust collection system, along with the accompanying flue gas, resulting in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium are also reduced and oxidized, adding to the overall product, while copper, as well as precious metals such as gold and silver, remain elegantly embedded in the kiln slag.

The cornerstone of this innovative process system is an impressive ensemble of cutting-edge equipment: a powerful Roots blower, the indispensable rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, an efficient surface air cooler, a state-of-the-art dust collector, a sophisticated desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an advanced granulator, and a comprehensive network of modern conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operation at every step.
