As the kiln majestically rotates, the materials gracefully advance, ushered by a strategic forced blast that creates a high-temperature reaction zone with searing temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1200ºC. In this dynamic environment, zinc metal compounds undergo a fascinating transformation as a carbon reducing agent reduces them to metal zinc vapor. This vapor then engages with oxygen, forming zinc oxide dust, which is adeptly captured by our advanced dust collection system, accompanied by flue gas. The process culminates in the extraction of a high-quality zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain entrapped within the kiln slag, ensuring their integrity and value.
