Immerse yourself in the groundbreaking production of secondary zinc oxide with our cutting-edge High-Capacity Zinc Oxide Plant, where the formidable rotary kiln takes center stage. Known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, this ingenious process begins when zinc oxide ore is meticulously blended with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in precise proportions. The blend is then skillfully introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly rotates, the materials gently advance forward. Aided by a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with searing temperatures of 1000-1200ºC is crafted within the kiln. This intense heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, ingeniously transforming them into metal zinc vapor that enters the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor encounters oxygen from the air, becoming oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. The result is the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, further enriching the final product, while copper, along with precious metals like gold and silver, elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

The backbone of this trailblazing process system is composed of an impressive array of high-performance equipment: a robust Roots blower, the pivotal rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a sophisticated surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a meticulous batching system, an innovative granulator, and a network of advanced conveying equipment, all working in harmony to ensure seamless operation at every stage.
