As the rotary kiln performs its majestic rotation, the materials gracefully progress forward, driven by an expertly controlled forced blast. Within this dynamic environment, a high-temperature reaction zone emerges, boasting an impressive range of 1000-1200ºC. Such intense heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds through the power of a carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing them into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. In this phase, the zinc vapor seamlessly encounters oxygen from the air, undergoing a remarkable transformation into zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with flue gas, is meticulously captured by an advanced dust collection system, resulting in the extraction of a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals abundant in zinc, such as lead and indium, are also subject to reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag.
