This method commences with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with precisely measured amounts of coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. Introduced via the kiln tail discharge pipe, these materials engage in a harmonious journey within the rotating kiln. As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials progress steadily, propelled by a powerful forced blast that crafts a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures soaring between 1000-1200ºC. Within this fiercely heated environment, zinc metal compounds undergo transformative reduction, thanks to a carbon reducing agent, evolving into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. This vapor then elegantly interacts with atmospheric oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust. Our sophisticated dust collection system, together with the flue gas, captures this precious dust, resulting in a refined extraction of zinc oxide of lower grade. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium play a role, undergoing reduction and oxidation to enhance the final product, while metals such as copper, gold, and silver, with their intrinsic value, remain intact within the kiln slag.

The core of this pioneering process system is a meticulously designed array of equipment, including a high-performance Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, an efficient surface air cooler, a cutting-edge dust collector, an advanced desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a state-of-the-art network of conveying equipment, all collaborating to ensure seamless and efficient operation throughout every phase of production.
