Product Introduction

As the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, this kiln delivers unparalleled efficiency and precision, seamlessly transforming raw materials into high-quality end products. products produced by this state-of-the-art rotary kiln demonstrate exceptional stability and consistent quality, boasting high reactivity and minimal loss on ignition, it flawlessly meets the rigorous requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This design not only improves the magnesium extraction rate but also enhances silicon utilization, thereby significantly lowering production costs while optimizing metallic magnesium consumption,. This equipment stands as the indispensable backbone for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing sector, setting a new standard in the industry.
The complete process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through a series of meticulous stages: beginning with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is broken into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is then compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is then uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is meticulously raised to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatment to yield exquisite magnesium ingots.
