The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses every facet from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, to refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is expertly crushed to ideal sizes (20-40mm) by state-of-the-art crushers, sintered in a rotary kiln, and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is finely pulverized using cutting-edge ball mill technology and shaped into balls with a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, converting dolomite into calcined white. This material is then meticulously blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and reduced in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with crude magnesium extraction, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and precise surface treatment, resulting in top-tier magnesium ingots.
