The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite undergoes precision crushing to achieve optimal sizes (20-40mm) through specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and efficiently cooled by a state-of-the-art cooler. It's further milled into a fine powder using advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls with a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, converting dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a refined dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C with a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with extracting crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
