It is the ultimate equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium industry, setting a new standard for excellence and reliability.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process embraces a full spectrum of stages: from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, to refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is expertly crushed to optimal dimensions (20-40mm) using precision crushers, then expertly sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled using an advanced cooler. It is further milled into a fine powder through cutting-edge ball mill technology and shaped into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination takes place in a rotary or vertical kiln, morphing dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to craft a perfect dough, placed in a resilient stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and careful surface treatment to produce premium-quality magnesium ingots.
