Introduced through the kiln tail discharge pipe, this expertly crafted mix embarks on a transformative journey within the rotary kiln. As the kiln rotates with precision, materials gracefully move forward, while a forceful blast orchestrates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC. Within this intense heat, zinc metal compounds are deftly reduced by a carbon reducing agent, transforming into metal zinc vapor that enters the gas phase. This vapor gracefully meets oxygen in the air, elegantly oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is then masterfully captured by our advanced dust collection system, along with the flue gas. The culmination of this sophisticated process is a low-grade zinc oxide product extraction. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo a seamless reduction and oxidation process, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver, remain entrapped within the kiln slag, enhancing the value of the operation.
