This innovative method, known as the rotary kiln volatilization process, commences with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, achieving the perfect proportions for optimal results. The expertly combined mixture is then introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln grandly rotates, the materials are gently propelled forward, accompanied by a forceful blast that creates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching between 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This intense heat allows for the carbon reducing agent to effectively reduce zinc metal compounds, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. In this state, the zinc vapor encounters oxygen from the air, undergoing oxidation to become zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. The outcome is the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals with high zinc content, such as lead and indium, undergo their own reduction and oxidation processes, enriching the final product. Simultaneously, copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain within the kiln slag, adding further value.

The heart of this revolutionary process system is comprised of an impressive ensemble of equipment: the robust Roots blower, the crucial rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, an advanced desulfurization system, an expertly calibrated batching system, a granulator, and an intricate network of sophisticated conveying equipment. All components work in perfect harmony to ensure seamless and efficient operation at every stage of the process, exemplifying precision and innovation.
