The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process includes a meticulous sequence of stages: from raw material storage to dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is carefully crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) by precision crushers. It is then sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled efficiently using a sophisticated cooler. Advanced ball mill machinery pulverizes it into a fine powder which is then shaped into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then thoroughly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders, forming a perfect dough. It is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, reduced in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, resulting in premium magnesium ingots.
