Product Introduction
Our innovative product, the metallic magnesium production line, features an expertly engineered rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to align with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite. This system precisely meets the stringent requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It is the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, representing the pinnacle of modern engineering. The products emerging from our state-of-the-art rotary kiln consistently exhibit stable and homogenous quality, boasting remarkable activity levels and minimal ignition loss. This ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, enhancing magnesium extraction rates and optimizing silicon utilization. Additionally, it significantly lowers production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium. It is quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting an industry benchmark for excellence.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite undergoes precision crushing into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, followed by sintering in a rotary kiln and effective cooling via a sophisticated cooler. The material is further pulverized into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.

3) At the forefront of our kiln is a high-efficiency vertical cooler that brilliantly captures the heat from high-temperature whitened materials of the rotary kiln, preheating secondary air to an impressive 650°C. This sophisticated design substantially boosts thermal efficiency, delivering outstanding economic returns.
