Product Introduction
Our metallic magnesium production line is an expertly crafted system featuring a meticulously engineered rotary kiln. This sophisticated piece of equipment is designed to align perfectly with the unique calcining characteristics of dolomite and the precise demands of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. Serving as the pivotal component of the dolomite calcining system, this cutting-edge product delivers consistently stable and homogenous quality outputs., offering exceptional activity levels and delivering minimal ignition loss. This ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby enhancing magnesium extraction rates and optimizing silicon utilization. It also significantly reduces the production and consumption costs of metal magnesium. As such, it represents the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting a new benchmark for industry excellence.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses every stage from raw material storage, through dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, to reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed to the optimal size (20-40mm) by specialized crushers. It is then sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln and cooled efficiently by a sophisticated cooler. The pulverized fine powder is formed into balls with advanced ball press technology. Calcination occurs in either a rotary or vertical kiln, converting dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction at temperatures between 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, resulting in premium magnesium ingots.

3) At the forefront of our kiln is a high-efficiency vertical cooler, ingeniously designed to harness the heat from high-temperature whitened materials of the rotary kiln. It preheats the secondary air to an impressive 650°C, significantly boosting thermal efficiency and delivering remarkable economic returns.
