Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully designed rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to accommodate the unique calcining characteristics of dolomite. It is the essential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process unfolds in a series of precise stages: starting with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is broken into ideal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered within a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and undergoes surface treatment to produce finished magnesium ingots.
