This sophisticated process commences with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in precise ratios. The expertly prepared blend then seamlessly enters the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln majestically rotates, it gently conveys the materials forward, while an intense forced blast conjures a high-temperature reaction zone within the kiln, reaching a blazing 1000-1200ºC. This searing heat empowers the carbon reducing agent to reduce zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor eagerly reacts with oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust that's skillfully captured by our advanced dust collection system, alongside the flue gas. The outcome is an expertly crafted low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, this remarkable process facilitates the reduction and oxidation of zinc-rich metals like lead and indium, enhancing the final product, while copper, and precious metals such as gold and silver, gracefully persist within the kiln slag.
