The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses stages such as raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is meticulously crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, sintered in a rotary kiln, and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is then pulverized into fine powder via state-of-the-art ball mill machinery and transformed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination takes place in a rotary or vertical kiln, turning dolomite into calcined white. This is expertly combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a flawless dough, situated in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and reduced in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. This rigorous process results in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
