The comprehensive process of magnesium smelting unfolds through a series of meticulous stages: raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw material (dolomite) is expertly crushed into precisely sized materials (20-40mm) by a cutting-edge crusher. It is then masterfully sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled through an advanced cooling system, ground into fine powder by an efficient ball mill, and expertly pressed into balls by a high-performance ball press. The calcined dolomite emerges, either in a rotary kiln or vertical kiln, as calcined white. This is adeptly crushed and seamlessly mixed with ferrosilicon powder and fluorite powder to form a consistent dough, which is then placed into a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank. This assembly is positioned in a reduction furnace, where it is subjected to precise conditions of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The result is crude magnesium which subsequently undergoes meticulous flux refining, ingot casting, and surface treatment to yield superior finished magnesium ingots.
