The metallic magnesium production line is a precisely engineered rotary kiln, crafted with precision to accommodate the distinctive calcining characteristics of dolomite, perfectly adhering to the intricate requirements of the Pidgeon method for superior magnesium smelting. As the pivotal core of the dolomite calcining system, this cutting-edge products emerging from this rotary kiln maintain consistently stable and uniform quality,, featuring exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses every essential step from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, to refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, meticulously sintered in a rotary kiln, and efficiently cooled by an advanced cooler. It is then pulverized into fine powder through innovative ball mill machinery and shaped into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, converting dolomite into calcined white. This is then expertly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching impressive temperatures of 1200-1250°C with a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce exceptional magnesium ingots.
