This pivotal system serves as the foundation of the dolomite calcining process, embodying cutting-edge technology and innovative design. products emerging from the rotary kiln exhibit consistently stable and homogenous quality, boasting remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thus enhancing the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization. The process significantly reduces the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium, making it a cost-effective solution for modern manufacturing.It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting the industry standard for excellence and reliability.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled effectively by a sophisticated cooler. Further processing transforms it into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and shapes it into balls using a high-performance ball press. This transformative process within the rotary or vertical kiln converts dolomite into calcined white. Subsequently, it is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, achieving temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
