This perfectly calibrated mixture is seamlessly introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln executes its graceful rotations, the materials progress with unparalleled ease. A powerful forced blast creates an elevated temperature zone within the kiln, surging to an extraordinary 1000-1200ºC. This intense heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds through an adept carbon reducing agent, transforming them into zinc metal vapor that enter the gas phase. In this gaseous form, zinc vapor interacts with oxygen, evolving into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by the dust collection system in tandem with the flue gas. This process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium are reduced and oxidized, enhancing the final product, while other precious metals like copper, gold, and silver are retained within the kiln slag, preserving their value.
