This advanced rotary kiln volatilization method begins by meticulously combining zinc oxide ore with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. The mixture is then smoothly introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln elegantly revolves, the materials progress forward, supported by a robust blast that creates an intense high-temperature reaction zone of 1000-1200ºC. This searing heat catalyzes the reduction of zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor within the gaseous phase. In this realm, the zinc vapor meets oxygen and oxidizes into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas.
