Immerse yourself in the revolutionary production of secondary zinc oxide with our cutting-edge technology, where the formidable rotary kiln stands as the centerpiece. This sophisticated process, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, elegantly kicks off as zinc oxide ore is meticulously blended with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly engineered mixture is then gracefully introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln performs its majestic rotation, the materials smoothly progress forward. Enhanced by a forceful blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with searing temperatures of 1000-1200ºC is created within the kiln. This intense heat masterfully facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that enters the gas phase. Within this phase, the zinc vapor meets oxygen from the air and undergoes oxidation to become zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with the flue gas, is adeptly captured by our dust collection system, culminating in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals rich in zinc, including lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, thereby enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain serenely within the kiln slag.
