Dive into the innovative world of secondary zinc oxide production with a state-of-the-art method that places the formidable rotary kiln at the forefront of industrial advancement. This sophisticated technique, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore and either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly crafted mixture is then introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln executes its majestic rotation, the materials are gently propelled forward. Enhanced by a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is established within the kiln, reaching a blistering 1000-1200ºC. Under these conditions, zinc metal compounds undergo reduction by a carbon reducing agent, transforming into metal zinc vapor, which transitions to the gas phase. This vapor then interacts with oxygen present in the air, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully collected by the dust collection system alongside the flue gas. This process results in the efficient extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc such as lead and indium are reduced and oxidized, contributing to the final output, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver gracefully remain within the kiln slag.

The foundation of this revolutionary process system is an impressive suite of equipment, including a high-efficiency Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, an advanced surface air cooler, a cutting-edge dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an efficient granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment. These components work in harmony to ensure seamless and efficient operation throughout each stage of production.
