Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process is a seamless journey through raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is expertly crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers. It is then sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln and cooled efficiently by a sophisticated cooler. The process continues with pulverization into fine powder via advanced ball mill machinery, followed by precision ball formation using a high-performance ball press. The calcination journey occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, skillfully transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to craft the perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and reduced in a furnace at soaring temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of high-purity crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium-quality magnesium ingots.
