This expertly mixed blend is then seamlessly fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly revolves, the materials smoothly progress forward. A powerful forced blast creates an intense high-temperature reaction zone of 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This environment is precisely engineered to enable the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor, which transitions into the gas phase. Upon encountering oxygen from the air, the zinc vapor is transformed into zinc oxide dust, which is deftly captured by our advanced dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The outcome is the efficient extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo intricate reduction and oxidation processes, enhancing the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals like gold and silver are expertly retained within the kiln slag, ensuring maximum value extraction.
