The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process spans raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers. It is then expertly sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled effectively by a sophisticated cooler. The material is further pulverized into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and seamlessly formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching optimal temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots of the highest caliber.
