As the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, this state-of-the-art rotary kiln epitomizes cutting-edge technology. The products emerging from this rotary kiln are a testament to engineering precision, exhibiting consistently stable and homogeneous quality., boasting notable activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures they adhere to Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby boosting the magnesium extraction rate. The system optimizes silicon utilization while significantly reducing production costs associated with metallic magnesium.. It stands as the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination, setting a benchmark of excellence in the magnesium sector.
This comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses every stage with precision-from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, to refining. The raw dolomite is initially precision-crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered within a rotary kiln and cooled by a sophisticated cooler. Further, it is pulverized into fine powder via advanced ball mill machinery, formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white, which is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough. This is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, undergoing reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in extracting crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, yielding premium magnesium ingots.
