Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is an expertly engineered rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to perfectly match the unique calcining attributes of dolomite. This cutting-edge technology is tailored to meet the precise parameters of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting, forming the cornerstone of the superior dolomite calcining system. This state-of-the-art products emerging from the rotary kiln consistently exhibit a stable and homogenous quality that is unrivaled in the industry, boasting an impressive level of activity and minimal ignition loss. This perfect synergy ensures full compliance with the Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, enhancing magnesium extraction rates and optimizing silicon utilization. As a result, it significantly reduces the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium. It is the paramount equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting the highest benchmark for excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln and effectively cooled by a sophisticated cooler. It is further pulverized into a fine powder using advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls with a high-performance ball press. The calcination process occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, which is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank. The concoction undergoes reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, yielding premium magnesium ingots.
