This innovative journey begins with the perfect fusion of zinc oxide ore and precisely measured amounts of either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This expertly blended concoction is fed into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln embarks on its majestic rotation, the materials are gently ferried forward. Here, thanks to a strategically forced air blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is forged, reaching between 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This intense thermal environment facilitates the masterful reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor within the gas phase. This zinc vapor then meets its transformative counterpart, oxygen, resulting in the oxidation process that forms zinc oxide dust. This precious dust is then meticulously captured by the dust collection system alongside the flue gas, culminating in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, the process also sees the transformation of zinc-rich metals, such as lead and indium, undergoing reduction and oxidation to enrich the final product. Meanwhile, metals like copper, and precious metals including gold and silver, remain elegantly ensconced within the kiln slag.

At the core of this pioneering process system lies a sophisticated ensemble of machinery: the robust Roots blower initiating the process, the pivotal rotary kiln commanding center stage, complemented by the kiln tail smoke chamber that effectively handles exhaust, and the surface air cooler ensuring optimal temperatures. Additionally, the dust collector works diligently to maintain purity, while the desulfurization system effectively reduces emissions. The batching system methodically manages ingredient proportions, and the granulator ensures product uniformity. All these elements are seamlessly connected by an advanced network of conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operation at every turn.
