The Comprehensive Process of Magnesium Smelting:Experience the precision of magnesium smelting, meticulously executed through stages that begin with raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, before advancing to reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is refined to optimal sizes (20-40mm) via a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled, and finely milled by a ball mill. This powder is then pressed into balls utilizing a ball press. The calcined dolomite is meticulously blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive mixture, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, temperatures soar to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, extracting crude magnesium, which is then refined, cast into ingots, and treated to produce pristine magnesium ingots.
