The complete process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through a meticulously curated series of stages: starting with raw material storage, transitioning through dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precisely broken into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a sophisticated rotary kiln, cooled in an advanced cooler, and finely ground by a precision ball mill. This refined powder is then expertly compressed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcined dolomite is then uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough and placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is meticulously elevated to 1200-1250°C under a precisely controlled vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is expertly extracted, further refined, cast into pristine ingots, and subjected to specialized surface treatment to yield finished magnesium ingots of the highest quality.
