Standing as the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, this state-of-the-art products emerging from our advanced rotary kiln consistently showcase stable and homogenous quality,further boasting remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures adherence to Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, enhancing the magnesium extraction rate while optimizing silicon utilization. The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encapsulates a series of precise steps including raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled using an advanced cooler. Further pulverization occurs through state-of-the-art ball mill machinery, forming precise balls with high-performance ball presses. Calcination, taking place in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforms dolomite into calcined white, which is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfectly balanced dough. This is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank and subjected to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and careful surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
