Product Introduction
The core of our offering, metallic magnesium, is produced via a cutting-edge production line that showcases an expertly engineered rotary kiln. This masterpiece is meticulously crafted to harmonize with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite, perfectly catering to the precise requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It stands as the cornerstone of our sophisticated dolomite calcining system. This state-of-the-art product emerging from the rotary kiln boasts consistently stable and homogenous quality,characterized by remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. This impeccable performance ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting. As a result, it significantly enhances the magnesium extraction rate and optimizes silicon utilization, while substantially lowering the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium production,making it the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting a new benchmark for excellence and innovation.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses every critical stage: from raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, to refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers. It is then sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled efficiently by a sophisticated cooler. Further pulverization into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery follows, after which it is expertly formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination process occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create an exquisite dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching elevated temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots of unparalleled quality.
