This exquisite mixture is fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe, setting the stage for a remarkable journey. As the kiln rotates with a masterful touch, materials advance steadily forward. Enhanced by a strategically applied forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is established, reaching soaring temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. Within this searing environment, zinc metal compounds are expertly reduced into metal zinc vapor using a carbon reducing agent. This vapor then encounters atmospheric oxygen, undergoing an elegant transformation into zinc oxide dust, which is adeptly collected alongside flue gas by the dust collection system. The outcome is a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium are effectively reduced and oxidized, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain ensconced within the kiln slag, ensuring purity and quality.
