A forced blast conjures a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a remarkable 1000-1200ºC within the kiln's confines. This fiery environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds through a sophisticated carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing them into metal zinc vapor, which transitions to the gas phase. The zinc vapor then elegantly encounters atmospheric oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is deftly captured by our advanced dust collection system alongside the flue gas, facilitating the retrieval of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals abundant in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain preserved in the kiln slag, contributing to sustainable metallurgical practices.
