Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterpiece of engineering ingenuity. This meticulously engineered rotary kiln is crafted to perfection, precisely tailored to the calcining characteristics of dolomite and the specific demands of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It serves as the foundational pillar of the dolomite calcining system. This cutting-edge products emerging from the rotary kiln exhibit unwavering consistency and homogeneous quality, showcasing exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures full alignment with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby enhancing the magnesium yield efficiency and optimizing silicon utilization. It significantly reduces the production costs and resource consumption associated with metal magnesium. It is the epitome of equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium industry, setting the standard for unparalleled excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously crushed into precisely sized pieces (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is further pulverized into fine powder in a state-of-the-art ball mill and formed into balls with a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough, placed in a robust heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
