This method begins with an exquisite blend of zinc oxide ore with precisely calibrated coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This finely tuned symphony of ingredients is delicately introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln majestically rotates, the materials advance seamlessly. A robust forced blast crafts a high-temperature reaction arena within the kiln, soaring to an astounding 1000-1200ºC. This immense heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing them into zinc metal vapor that gracefully enters the gas phase. The zinc vapor then dances with oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by the state-of-the-art dust collection system, alongside the flue gas, culminating in the extraction of a refined low-grade zinc oxide product.
