It all begins with the perfect fusion of zinc oxide ore and either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exacting proportions. This expertly crafted blend embarks on its journey into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the grand rotary kiln spins with elegance, the materials gracefully progress forward. Supported by a vigorous forced blast, a dynamic high-temperature reaction zone emerges within the kiln, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC. This intense heat masterfully reduces zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into magnificent metal zinc vapor. The vapor then engages with oxygen from the air, metamorphosing into zinc oxide dust. This precious dust, captured with the utmost precision by the dust collection system alongside the flue gas, culminates in a superior low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, including lead and indium, undergo a symphony of reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product. Meanwhile, copper and noble metals like gold and silver remain elegantly ensconced within the kiln slag.
