Dive into the revolutionary process of creating secondary zinc oxide, where the powerful rotary kiln becomes the heart of the operation. This cutting-edge method, known as the rotary kiln volatilization process, begins when expertly measured zinc oxide ore is meticulously combined with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. The mixture is seamlessly fed into the kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln performs its majestic rotation, the materials make a progressive journey forward. With the assistance of a controlled blast, a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC, is generated within the kiln. This elevated heat level enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds through a sophisticated carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor. As it transitions into the gas phase, the zinc vapor gracefully meets oxygen from the air, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with flue gas, is expertly collected by the advanced dust collection system, resulting in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, are also reduced and oxidized, enriching the final product, while precious metals like gold and silver, along with copper, remain elegantly within the kiln slag.

The core of this pioneering process system is a meticulously engineered assembly of equipment: featuring the robust Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, an efficient surface air cooler, a highly effective dust collector, a state-of-the-art desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a reliable granulator, and an intricate network of advanced conveying equipment. Together, they ensure seamless and efficient operation throughout each stage of this groundbreaking process.
